Frequently Asked Questions
Return Policy What is your return policy? You cannot return any products. However, for prints & stickers, you can exchange them if you want a different size. For product exchanges you MUST return the item in its original condition & packaging. Custom orders, denim work, & ash trays CANNOT be returned. What happens if my product is damaged? If your product is damaged, email your order confirmation number and a picture of the item. I will issue a refund to the original form of payment within 30 days. How can I track my order? You can track your order using the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation email. Can I change or cancel my order? Yes. You have 24 hours to cancel or change your order. You can request to do so by emailing me. Send me your order confirmation number, I will cancel the order. Refunds are issued within 30 days.
Custom Orders & Commissions How do a request a custom order? For all custom orders & commission requests, please go to the contact page and submit the contact form. Describe the design you are requesting in great detail, as well as your budget. If I accept this order, you must email me at least TWO reference pictures. Do you accept all custom order requests? I do not. I will be upfront and honest with you about whether I think I can do a good job with the design you submit. If I don’t think I could do it to your satisfaction, I will not take on the piece. I will also only be accepting orders when my books are open. You will still be able to access the contact submission form for questions. When should I expect my order to arrive? Custom work can be anywhere between 10-25 business days. Please remember, all custom works are hand-painted & made to order, so it will take longer than a regular order. Once you submit the design, I will email you with an estimate. How much does it cost to get a custom order? My rate is $30 an hour. All custom orders & commissions require a $100 or $200 deposit depending on the piece. This will be refunded once I receive your final payment.
Prints & Stickers: Do you hand paint all designs for prints and stickers? Yes. All designs of C. Varey art are hand painted before sent off to the printing company. Can I customize the size of the stickers that are prelisted? No. All pre-listed stickers are set sizes.
Denim Work: If I like a design of an item you've sold, can you make one for me? Yes. However, while the design will be same, all clothes are upcycled, so no two garments will be the same. C. Varey Art is environmentally friendly. I do my best to curate the best quality clothing, but be mindful that this is not going to be identical to the clothes pictured in the listing. Can I choose one of your designs and have it painted on a different garment? Yes. Write in the contact form what type of garment you'd like me to paint. Can I send you my clothes to paint? Yes. Mention in the contact form that you'd like to provide me with the clothing item you’d like me to paint. Please note that you are required to pay for the cost of shipping to me. I will waive the total shipping fee when I send it back to you. Do I have to send you denim in order for you to paint the clothing item? No. Though denim is the ideal fabric given its rigidity and material. You can send in other garments (e.g. a sweatshirt, t-shirt, etc.). Can I put denim work in the washing machine? Yes. Cold wash delicate only. I mix acrylic paint with a glosse medium that helps ensure its security on the garments.
Ashtrays: What size trays do you offer? All trays are set sizes. You can choose between the options available. Small: 7.3L"×5.3"W×0.8"H Large: 15.91"L x 11.18"W x 0.91"H Do trays stain? I use a resin top coat to solidify the painting on the tray itself. While custom trays can be used for many things, if you use it as a rolling tray/ashtray, I cannot guarantee that ash won’t stain the tray.
