Creative Vision
C. Varey Art is rooted in the eternal dance between life and death — the yin and the yang, the seen and the unseen. My work is inspired by the quiet truths that bind us all: the wildness of nature, the serenity of stillness, and the inevitability of our return to the earth.

In life, we find towering mountains, whispering forests, and tranquil skies — fleeting moments of peace captured in pigment and form. In death, we become bones — stripped of identity, yet united in essence. Through my art, I seek the space where these two worlds touch.
Skeletons emerge in her work not as grim symbols, but as gentle reminders: we are all the same beneath the surface. They represent everyone — and thus, anyone. The viewer becomes the subject. The mountain becomes a mirror. In this liminal space, there is beauty, whimsy, and truth.

My paintings are an ode to the in-between — the soft veil between presence and absence. A fantastical limbo where all are welcome, and nothing is truly gone. In this balance, I find inspiration. In this tension, I create.
Sketches of a Beginning
C. Varey Art began in 2019 during my senior year of high school. Originally launched as Saturday Soles, the brand focused on custom tailgate apparel created for friends and classmates. After the disruptions of COVID-19, I took a break to prioritize school, work, and personal growth. In the summer of 2025, I reconnected with the one constant in my life: art. I realized that creating and sharing my work isn’t just something that I love—it’s what I'm meant to do. It’s taken time to build confidence in my abilities, to fully embrace my creative voice, and to stop letting fear hold me back. C. Varey Art has since evolved into a space where I can share my original work—each piece a reflection of my passion, experiences, and personal journey. My mission is to inspire and empower artists around the world to embrace their creative gifts with confidence, authenticity, and purpose.
I believe that every artist has a unique voice and perspective worth sharing. Too often, fear, self-doubt, or societal pressure holds us back from fully stepping into our creative potential. Through my own journey—navigating uncertainty, overcoming hesitation, and learning to trust my artistic vision—I’ve come to understand the power of embracing your craft without apology.
My goal is to encourage other creatives to do the same: to recognize the value of their work, to see their creativity as a meaningful contribution, and to share it boldly with the world. Art is not just about aesthetics—it’s a powerful form of expression, connection, and transformation.
By building a community that celebrates vulnerability, authenticity, and creative freedom, I hope to inspire others to honor their artistry and to pursue it with both courage and joy.
